| Acton Policing Update: Taking Action on Community ConcernsThe past few days have been highly productive for the Acton Safer Neighbourhood Teams, with significant steps taken to address persistent issues impacting our community.Community Protection Notice Issued We have now served a Community Protection Notice (CPN) to the individual widely known as “Lime Bike Guy.” This notice bans him from large areas of Acton. Should he breach these conditions, he will be arrested and charged. This action follows community feedback—we listened, and we responded. Further details will be shared once the official release is cleared.Enforcement Against Street Drinking Today, officers arrested one of our most problematic street drinkers for breaching his existing CPN. He entered a restricted zone from which he is banned and will appear in court tomorrow. We are also preparing an application for a Community Behaviour Order (CBO) to strengthen enforcement and protect local residents.Wanted Suspect Located In addition, officers responded to a 999 call and discovered a man hiding in a void flat on a local estate. Checks revealed he was wanted for harassment, and he was promptly arrested.Community Engagement We continue to balance enforcement with engagement. If you appreciate the efforts of your local officers, please remember to use the appreciation feature on this system—it helps us track and celebrate positive impact. These actions demonstrate our commitment to tackling anti-social behaviour and safeguarding the community. Thank you for your continued support as we work together to keep Acton safe. | ||
